BIOMAPE explores social acceptance through eight real-life case studies in Austria, Hungary, Ireland, Portugal, Slovenia, Serbia, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
The case studies involve workshops, site visits, surveys and stakeholder dialogue, covering biomethane facilities at different stages: planning, construction and operation. Their aim is to understand local concerns, highlight benefits and support more inclusive biomethane deployment.
