Biomethane Certificates and Cross-border Trade
BIOMAPE supports the establishment of national biomethane registries and improves the functioning of cross-border certificate trade through guidelines, testing and optimisation of European systems.
Biomethane Policy and Market Development
The project maps existing support schemes, evaluates their effectiveness and develops improved policies and a holistic policy mix to enhance biomethane deployment.
Biomethane Social Acceptability
Through eight real-life case studies, BIOMAPE engages stakeholders via workshops, site visits and surveys to assess and improve social acceptance of biomethane projects.
